Our PrevMED Optometry Division provides the convenience and comfort of professional on-site ocular healthcare for residents of long-term care facilities.

On average, age-related eye disorders typically become a problem at the age of 60 and older. Decreased activity and disability amongst seniors is commonly caused by visual impairment. The foundation of our program is on-site eye care including glasses and routine eye exams which help prevent harmful diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Detecting and treating these problems early will help residents retain their vision and live a more independent life.
